ARUP Blood Services is a non-profit blood center that holds over 500 hundred blood drives all over the state of Utah in support of the thousands of patients needing blood each year at Huntsman Cancer Hospital, University Hospital, and Shriners Hospital for Children. ARUP Blood Services needs 100 donors a day including 20 platelet donors a day to support these local Utah hospitals. ARUP Blood Services has donor centers in Sandy and Research Park. We also hold blood drives each day with Utah businesses, high schools, churches, and other community groups.
