Nestled in the southwestern corner of New Hampshire, Winchester is conveniently located close to main roads and highways that lead to cities and towns markets all over the northeastern United States and Canada. To take advantage of this prime location and to promote commercial growth, the Winchester Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) serves as a discreet liaison between the town and prospective new businesses. As a federally and state registered 501(c) (3) charitable nonprofit, WEDC actively seeks new and expanding companies looking for a town with a pro-business climate, hardworking and motivated citizens, and a number of potential spaces on which to build. New Hampshire and Winchester offer low taxes and other financial incentives to attract businesses that wish to establish themselves in the community. The WEDC recruits vibrant pre-existing or new companies and aids in the transition to town in a timely and productive manner.
