Since 1949, Glade Spring Fire Department Inc. (GSFD) has been providing fire suppression and prevention services to eastern Washington County, from our station located in the Town of Glade Spring.
Like other Fire Departments throughout the County, our members have been answering calls from their homes and places of business for over 60 years. When it was established, our Department was comprised solely of volunteers…and it still is to this day.
We continue to provide first-class emergency services to all residents, businesses, and visitors within our first-due response area.
