David and Wendy Brueckner have owner Cheyenne Crossing for the past 11 years. They spent the first 3 years making many additions to the building, beer garden, and parking lot. David Brueckner began Catering from Cheyenne Crossing in 2007. Cheyenne Crossing has been a landmark since 1878 when the Deadwood-Cheyenne stagecoach stopped here on its regular route to and from Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Deadwood, South Dakota 1885. Experience our friendly Black Hills hospitality and country home cooking of our award-winning Stage Stop Café. Our quaint and unique General Store is home to one of the most unusual and original gift shops you’ll ever wander into. Plus the charm and comfort of an upstairs lodge with 3 king-size beds. The Lodge at Cheyenne Crossing is nestled in the Black Hill pines and surrounded by rock cliffs in the heart of Spearfish Canyon.
