Petals of Hope Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) organization headquartered in Orlando, FL. The Petals of Hope Foundation is dedicated to community service throughout Orange County and is the charitable arm of Delta Omicron Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA).
Petals of Hope Foundation, Inc. is an innovative network of professional women who provide community support to individuals and families through programs in education, health and social welfare. Petals of Hope Foundation, Inc. does not receive government funding; however, all programs and operations are made possible through the volunteer hours of members and the generosity of donors.
Petals of Hope Foundation was established in 2012 to further enhance volunteerism, community outreach and the program initiatives of AKA. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated areas of active concerns are displayed through its current Program Initiatives (1) Educational Enrichment (2) Health Promotion (3) Family Strengthening (4) Environmental Ownership and (5) Global Impact.
