​Five Star Cellular was started in 1997 by Dan and Dianne Mingione in a small corner of their automotive service center in Dodgeville, WI. In December of 2003 Dan and Dianne opened two additional U.S. Cellular Authorized Agent stores, located in New Glarus and Mt. Horeb, WI. In 2006 the Dodgeville location was moved to a retail based facility and Dan and Dianne sold the Automotive service to focus solely on the wireless service industry.
