Since 1972, people who have attended our church have come from different experiences and backgrounds. Some come from Catholic, Presbyterian, Methodist, or Church of Christ denominations. Others come with no religious background at all. Suddenly, they find themselves in a Baptist church. What is a Baptist church? Many have understood a Baptist church by its common stereotypes, but we can assure you that the Mayfield Road family is not your stereotypical Baptist church. We are unique. We believe church should be fun and exciting, yet without compromising the truth of God’s Word, the Bible!
