The Nugget Alaskan Outfitter, “NAO” for short, is a descendant of the Nugget Department Store opened in 1974 by Bill Flint and a group of local investors. The Nugget Department Store carried men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, plus bedding, sheets and giftware.
