Sonny Acres Farm is a family-owned and operated pumpkin farm located in West Chicago, IL, since 1883. First-generation German immigrants Ferdinand and Anna Nagel homesteaded what was eventually to become the Sonny Acres farm. Back then it was known as the Oakwood Farm. They farmed 100 acres and erected a one-room home where they resided until they built the present farmhouse in 1895. This farm has grown from a small roadside stand to Chicago’s premier pumpkin patch!
