Lancaster Montessori was founded in 1970 as a nonprofit parent cooperative. It is the goal of our school to create a community of parents, children, and teachers who are dedicated to working together to build a foundation for a lifetime of creative learning.
Lancaster Montessori was founded in 1970 as a nonprofit parent cooperative. The school depends on family involvement in activities ranging from mulching the playground to serving on committees to cleaning the classroom. We encourage all parents to take an active role in the education of their child by attending parent education gatherings, various after school events (Mom’s Night, Dad’s Night, Winterfest, Mother’s Tea), and two-parent/teacher conferences. It is the goal of our school to create a community of parents, children, and teachers who are dedicated to working together to build a foundation for a lifetime of creative learning.
