Unity Covenant Church
Unity Baptist Church started New Years day 2009 as a mission of First Baptist Church of Ashland City, sent out to reach the un-churched in Ashland City. We realize that many people have not spent their whole life in church and are really confused on all of the different denominations and views of God. We believe the best approach is to continue the Biblical instructions to the Church.
To PREACH THE WORD!
What is unique about UBC is that we teach through a book of the Bible verse by verse.
This is very effective in making sure the Church is adequately equipped for the work of the ministry by learning the full context of scripture so we rightly divide the word of truth and that unbelievers coming to visit will hear the one true Gospel with no spin on it and not watered down.
We don’t care where you have been, we care where you are going.
We don’t care if you wear blue jeans or a suit or dress. We sing mostly contemporary music with a strong emphasis on worship music not entertainment music.
The words we sing are important. We do not use the flashing lights and smoke and other distracting mood manipulative practices.
One thing we want new people to know is that we really want you to come and join with us in this journey of being transformed into the image of Christ.
We believe in the concept of Church Family and have realized how much we all need one another.
