AFH Sod Farm is open for business year round and is open to the public. All of our sod is cut fresh per order. Sod can be purchased by the individual roll or by the pallet. All orders are call ahead at least 48 hours. Pick-up and delivery services are available.
Tall Fescue is a cool-season grass that works well in this area. It is dark green in color and has a medium size blade. Due to its appearance and ability to withstand foot traffic, fescue is perfect for a residential yard or a commercial landscape. Tall Fescue can adapt to partial shade, however it does require mostly sun throughout the day. Tall fescue does fairly well during drought conditions. Because fescue does not go into dormancy during the winter, it stays green all year round. Tall fescue requires regular maintenance to maintain its health and appearance.
