George W. Dodge

George W. Dodge is a native of Arlington, Virginia and is currently serving a second year as president of the Arlington County Bar Association. He has been in practice since 1982 in northern Virginia, primarily in Arlington, Fairfax and Alexandria, Virginia. He has experience as a trial lawyer involving estate litigation, such as Will impeachment cases, partition of real estate suits and guardian/conservator trials. Since his appointment as a Special Justice in 1988, George has presided over several thousand civil commitment hearings and has been a member of the Supreme Court of Virginia’s Commission on Mental Health Law Reform and the Virginia Task Force on Guardianship Reform.
