Iron Workers Union
Iron workers Local Union #482 is a non-discriminatory Union that supplies qualified Journeyman Iron Workers and Apprentices to affiliated contractors, without regard to age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status or sex, to projects in the areas surrounding Austin, Texas. We are members of the International association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron workers.
Ironworkers Local Union 482 provides our contractors with a highly skilled, safety trained and drug free workforce. We pride ourselves in our skills and work ethic. We work to provide a decent living wage for our members, to provide health insurance for them and their families and provide a pension plan, so that when retirement comes, they will still be able to provide for themselves and their family with dignity.
