Audubon's mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.

Founded in Bakersfield, CA in 1973 and incorporated in 1979, Kern Audubon Society is a thriving environmental organization in Kern County. The chapter continually plans a number of exciting, fun, and educational projects for the community.
