Due to the recent rise in Parainfluenza cases in dogs in the Westchester and Fairfield Counties, Valhalla Animal Hospital recommends that any dog that comes in contact with the unknown vaccinated public should be vaccinated against CPIV.  Any dogs that frequent dog parks, training, boarding, or grooming establishments are at greater risk.  Also, any owners who feel they should vaccinate, even those who don’t fit into those categories, can still vaccinate for safety precautions.
