Raleigh County Medical Society

The Raleigh County Medical Society (RCMS) represents and advocates for physicians and the medical community in southern West Virginia. The first medical society in the area, the RCMS was founded in 1903. The RCMS is governed by an Executive Council consisting of the President, the Immediate Past President, the President-Elect, and the Secretary/ Treasurer, all of whom are respected physicians practicing in the area.
As a medical society, the Raleigh County Medical Society works to promote the medical profession, provides Continuing Medical Education programs, and serves as a social organization for physicians and members of the medical community.
Any physician or medical professional (nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant) practicing in Raleigh County or the surrounding counties are welcome to apply for membership by visiting our Registration page.
