Second Zion Baptist Church
Second Zion Baptist Church is a family worship center for believers of all ages, ethnicities, and diverse backgrounds. Under the Leadership of Bishop J. Nelson Brown, our services and classes are designed to minister to the spiritual development needs of individuals, families, and our community. We share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Bible based worship and praise, engaging Sunday School, practical and dynamic Bible study, and impassioned fellowship.
OUR PURPOSE is primarily evangelism. We lead people to Jesus and membership in His church, by developing them to Christ-like maturity, and equipping them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s holy name. Here at Second Zion Baptist Church, dress ranges from casual to professional, hugs are always contagious, and you are always welcome.
