Meet our Pastor
Peter Pasechnik was born on January 1, 1956, in the Republic of Moldova, Edinet district, Gaspor, Born into a believing family. Father’s name was Ivan, and mother’s name was Olga. From 1976 to 1993, He served as a youth leader, and in 1993 God sent him to Pastor a missionary service in the city of Edinet from 1993 to 2000, while serving as a pastor in the city of Edinet, God formed His Church, and around the city in 8 more villages.
In the city of Edinet, God helped to build a Prayer House.
In the surrounding villages, houses were bought and converted into prayer houses.
Having ordained new brothers to the ministry with the Bishops of Moldova, handing over the ministry, in 2000, together with their family, they moved to the USA, to the city of Sacramento. In 2003, according to God’s plan, the Zion Christian Church was opened and formed, He saw life in this country. But at the same time, He saw with pain in his heart that many Slavs, having arrived in this country, and having gotten into these living conditions forgetting about God. And this opinion also gave him support to come to the USA, to live in this country, in these conditions, and serve God, this is a mercy from God to us.
